I'm just glad they're doing the manga justice. Parasyte might have been my first manga I ever read, so I'd always hoped they'd make an anime out of it and never understood why they didn't. I was a bit wary at first with how they changed Shinichi's personality and looks, but seems it was just a bit of artistic license to make the upcoming episodes have more of an impact. A-OK with that.

It was amazing how I went from "Damn, that girl is smart, actually managing to connect these dots" to "She was given an explanation of their intent and capabilities. She'll now proceed to encounter him alone anyway so she can ask him to go away" within two sentences. Jesus Christ.

Certainly no genius, that's true; it's just that I would have expected her to refuse to connect the dots "because he's so handsome and cool, he can't be a monster" - then she, surprisingly, did connect them, only to fall back on the very same mistake I would have expected one step ago.

Yeah, although I feel like the problem there goes with the theme of the show. Despite putting it all together she still appeals to his humanity. Not realizing that there is none left.
