koenig was always my favorite platemail set looks-wise in XI. i have no issues with it being adapted to XIV!

I'm really looking forward to Qarn (never thought I'd say that)! I loved the look of the Koenig set but it was never worn. I hope that means Marduk is going to surface, I loved that set - and in this game it would be for healers!

As I said, it's not that it's entirely bad; I just can't bring myself to act like they just invented the wheel when they reinvented it and made it a little smoother. More like "Oh, nice, I guess" instead of "Jesus Christ, yes!", but that's more of a gripe with Final Fantasy in general, though earlier games seemed to be a little less focused on the recycled parts, but that's also because we're definitely talking about an entirely different advertising-structure here.

Out of curiosity, though, I never knew the Salvage-sets were reused, where did they first appear?

I wish I could get more excited for the new dungeons but I know I'll be done with them in 10-20 mins a couple days after patch when I get them for my expert roulette. :/

Aren't NIN's particle effects a little too much?
Between all those symbols, sparks, blasts, effects... I can't imagine someone playing for one hour straight without suffering retina damage

Setting up the Ishgard-focused expansion nicely towards the end it seems. Let's hope they don't repeat the same mistake they made with Ramuh and make the iLVL of the Shiva drops irrelevant off the bat.

You just can't handle the shine. That's fine, we need less NINs anyway.

Ninja looks fucking awesome. It's going to be bandwagoned into oblivion though, RIP DPS.
