    The drops-by-job-set stuff is starting to become nonsense. With NIN in the fold, if they have their own coil set (and the rest remains like other coil sets) then over 40% of coil armor loot tables are for melee DPS (and over half are for physical DPS). That's beyond stupid.

    I have no idea who thought it was a good idea to separate MNK and DRG into different coil sets, while keeping PLD/WAR, BLM/SMN, and SCH/WHM all on shared sets. Either break them all up or put PLD/WAR, MNK/DRG, BRD/NIN, BLM/SMN, and SCH/WHM all on shared sets.

    Yeah its quite dumb. Good news is that the shared sets do drop more often than the non-shared.

    To be fair, spliting MNK and DRG allowed 4 DPS set, 1 Healer, 1 Tank. 3/1/1 probably sounded weird.

    Didn't they mention that new coil would follow the Crystal Tower style of loot lockout, or was that coming at a later date? Also they mentioned going back to a token style system of rewards for higher end content which might be with this patch so even if RNG shits on you with DRG gear for days can still use your tokens.

    Regarding the .dat mined ROG/NIN traits, I had assumed the "Single Poison BUFF effect up" would increase the Stun and Absorb HP effects respectively but now that I see "Multiple Poison BUFF effect up" I'm confused. Also what is the B-1 combo? Assuming it's increasing one of the additional effects it's probably an increase to one of the DoT moves. My guess is it's the Shadow Fang one, increased DoT duration.

    It was teased during the Vegas fanfest, but they were very vague on details.

    Crap-version DoTs and buffs have been the trend so far. If I had to guess...

    Perfect Dodge (dodge 1 hit)
    Mutilate (crap DoT)
    Mug (Treasure Hunter, why not, I'm sure the TP-cost sucks)
    Goad (Traits are sure to buff this, so cross-class seems likely)

    Jugulate (Silence) and Assassinate (Mercy Stroke) seem possible, but perhaps not as likely as the above four.

    Did they ever mention whether or not any of the pre-existing jobs will have access to ROG skills, or is this just a thought experiment?

    Wasn't some job losing MRD as cross-class in favor or ROG? (It was Pugilist right?) So Assassinate seems likely imo replacing Mercy Stroke

    I bet hide is cross-class. Its more or less useless for other jobs. They also wont get the +movement while in stealth trait.

    So gonna be disappointed if coil 2 still has a weekly lockout. Didn't they allow coil 1 to be duty findered right away with no restrictions when they released 2?

    Cross-class hide would be an enormous buff to classes-over-jobs in PvP.

    My guess is Mutilate, Mug, Assassinate, and Third Eye Perfect Dodge.

    Yes, it is incredibly likely that Coil 2 will still be added to the Duty Finder the same way Coil 1 was (only 8-man preformed parties, then true duty finder in 2.45)

    These notes are still preliminary, the announcement of Coil 2 lockout removal is missing, but I can't remember if Coil 1 lockout was advertised or not. Riot only when finalized notes exclude it.

    Helping Coil is returning to a Coil with a lockout (likely to be Coil 3) to help someone clear it even though you've already cleared. (Your being there as a helper means you cannot lot and the drop rates are reduced or something)

    Having coil2 lockouts with unlimited CT2 sand lotting seems rather pointless.

    Are we really doing this? Name a single duty from the Duty Finder that you can't repeat. There is none. The patch notes say Second Coil has been added to the duty finder, so that's confirmation enough that the lockout is gone.

    The announced 2.45 lockout change is for Final Coil, I believe a couple posters got confused.
