Yeah the egg guy puts Forked Lightning on people. I haven't gotten past the adds but from streams... after the adds he gains access to that AoE move that Hydra's do and there are two tether pairs (green and blue). The tether is just your buddy that you have to stay close to, so when you dodge AoE's you gotta do it together as it still does the floor stuff and the missiles. I think that the two pairs can't be too close to each other either.
edited title to undo spoilers just a little bit
they prolly figured that since this fight is all about surviving those damn AOEs by the adds to get to last phase, they all made il90 VIT melds accessories and have 6.3k? HP
and since thats enough to eat both meteor w/o much problem, stacking became the better strat and so the 2 pairs with chains have more freetom to go left and right of hydra

Is it going to be a gear wall for most raiders like some are saying? As in is it carving people new assholes and did you guys barely manage to beat whatever enrage it might have?
Pretty much. I wouldn't expect most groups/comps to meet the check for that turn.
T11 questions:
1. Collision stacked their tanks in front is that so they always get tethered together or is that because some moves have split damage?
2. How do you know when Meteors are going out? I can't see an indicator. They seem to spread out and the HM markers comes out while they are spread.
1. Both; sometimes they look to be tethered but considering the type of mob it is, one move acts like you would expect a similar move to. We're trying to learn add phase tonight so couldn't tell you if tethers pick two people next to each other or if it's all random.
2. Two red missiles (scatter; no mark) or one blue missile (stack; orbital laser marker) will fire, you can watch if your camera is angled right. It's also basically a timing thing too; if you hear missiles firing but see no marker, it's spread out first.
