not sure if it's been figured out yet, but you break the mummy beam by stunning/binding the NM and running 10-15 yalms away. the beam will visibly get thinner until it snaps. Unresisted Brutal Swing/Leg Sweep is a sufficient duration stun.

In that case, Heavy might work if Stun is fully resisted. I was surprised boss was affected by Heavy.

Has anyone figured out how to not get frozen stacks on boss 1 of Snowcloak? Running around like a maniac does fucking nothing.

Holmgang works too, just don't bind yourself in the path of oncoming mummies.

have noticed it many times now since it seems all I fucking get in ex roulette is Qarn.

I was able to avoid getting stacks while moving shortly after the casting of snow drift. The ability has like a 3-4 second delay before it actually happens.

On the subject of Ballistic Missile: Dragoon's Elusive Jump works to break the bind. However, the number of people in the circles requirement is still the same and you are down one.

Then I have to be doing it wrong, because I was literally running the entire time, during/after cast and it still hits me.

Ive had very mixed results avoiding it... Been in constant motion since charge up to after the animation and been hit with frozen... remained still... avoided it (as tank)... One fight as tank I had avoided it successfully almost every time, and the next fight I did the exact same thing and got hit by every one.

I can't find rhyme or reason to it so don't feel bad.

I get it a lot too but tbh I find it to be the simplest/quickest of the dungeons.

Snowcloak is pretty "whatevs" but Sastasha is annoying as fuck.

Unless someone else has differing experience, it just picks one person at random to not gain a stack because otherwise if everyone did everything perfectly, all four people would be frozen at once, which would suck.

I'm pissed off by it because a BLM in the run I was just in (as BLM also) got no stacks 3 times in a row and I can't figure out what if anything he was doing. (No I didn't ask that would be too easy)

I use the original 2.0 twister dodging method to avoid stacks, works like a charm.

nice to know for in situations where the drg gets bound with someone else, but both rings are too far away (which should never happen in any way), just let the drg break the bind and focus on the other persons ring!

This guy knows whats up. Especially for spirit bonding, 49% in Sastasha with no rings/potions, 60-70% in qarn with no rings/potions.

for satasha boss, just stay on 1 half and deal with the legs for that half, and zerg the boss. ignore those spare legs on the other half

yes you still get 1-2 stranger tides but those aint gotta fucking kill you

you can shave off 3-5 mins on that fucking boss

i90 HQ 2 materia or i90 NQ 3 materia. SB's at the same right.
I usually do nq head gloves shoes and and HQ belt (1 myth mat each). HQ the belt because overmelding the 3rd materia on NQ is 20% success.

Can the stun effect from the 1st Sastasha boss be Esuna-d?

I swear the very first time I did that dungeon the healer was doing something to remove/prevent the stun effect.
