Don't think it matters either way since all damage you can do on Rogue/Ninja is physical.

Has all of that been confirmed yet? I was wondering if the various Ninjutsu like Katon/Raiton/Doton were considered Elemental, and could be increased by Foe's.

because my raiton does 1/2 the damage to the round node in turn 11

Some DoT findings:

Doton performed with Kassatsu buff will crit every tic.

Doton performed on a vulnerable target (after TA) will have +10% dmg ONLY during the debuff duration. After the vulnerability debuff wears its back to normal damage.

However, unlike Doton, Mutilation/Shadow Fang will have the +10% dmg through the duration of the DoT

No consensus on what should be placed on Ninja Novus yet, is there? I hear Huton is gatlike and starting to question if I should pump my Novus full of Skillspeed, lol.

I don't see why it wouldn't follow similar principles to MNK (similar TP costs, same speed buffs with Huton vs GL3). It has higher potencies on moves instead of the extra 20ish% that GL3+FistsofFire+Snakes has over Kiss. You also have to hiccup the GCD a little bit during Suiton-TA anyways every minute.

Not even 50 yet though so I'm just blowing smoke.

I have zero math to back this up, but here are some reasons to not do skillspeed:
-Doesn't shorten Ninjtsu recast
-Doesn't shorten SA/TA recast
-Already, you cant squeeze in a 3-mudra ninjutsu without delaying your next GCD

Crit/Det sees like the way to go

also im not sure if raiton is worth it if you have huton up..... like someone mentioned above, you will still have your gcd wait for 2-3 mudra ninjitsu

fuma shuriken seem faster. have to run some parse

The range on fuma shuriken is pretty nice (same distance as provoke)

Is it a dps increase to use Katon > Kessatsu Doton for aoe or is it the other way around?

I would think Doton since it has a higher base potency and every tick crits as reported.

I don't have NIN50 yet (much less any jutsu) but, how? 20s recast on jutsu, seems like you'd only let Huton down for like 1 GCD if any. Every third application.

you can do huton suiton and some raiton in between

but like i mentioned, you will be having some GCD wait for huton/suiton

so for the spare time where you can cast raiton, im not sure if i should switch to fuma so we dont waste anymore GCD....
