This is NOT A KNOCK at people with all type of Lucis in this thread, but I do have a serious question: did producing them cost you gil, or gain you gil? Overall.

From my experience, the people I know with Lucis have mostly spent far more on them than they could hope to gain, but most of the people I play with don't actively craft enough (even the ones with full DoH Lucis sets).

Lucis did not cost me gil. BUT getting every crafter to 4* took 10 mil+ due to horrid Reclaim issues. I also made all of my own Mastercraft/FC3 for Supra.

However, being 4* everything has made me more than what I spent on FC3 and then some. In the months since getting them all to 4*, I've made a few dozen million. I am also not really crafting seriously, so I could potentially have made much more but I don't like market PvP at all.

For the most part, if you had to spend considerable gil for Lucis itself you did it wrong. Granted, I don't really consider crystals to be a significant cost even though it probably is.

4 clams away from full Lucis and halfway unfinished with Mahatma, and dunno if I'll work up the effort to finish before HW drops. Oh well!

How did you stay sane during all the FATE grinding? I get annoyed after 2-3 FATEs. . .

The real question is how I stay sane after all those dungeon runs?
By the time they buffed Fates xp, I already maxed all my DPS jobs except SMN/SCH.
DPS queues were good with people leveling their endgame jobs first and all the new DRKs/ASTs. Then the same people realizing they don't like DRK/AST.
Fates are only good when they're not scaled too high.

Capping all DoW/DoM classes is something I'll definitely never do. Hell, I still don't have PLD or MNK unlocked, lol. Only thing that will always be something I cap is DoH/DoL, but those are easy and far quicker to lvl over battle classes.

if you stable it in FC stables and leave it there for an hour, it gets another timer for other people in addition to the one for yourself. so you (and someone else) can essentially train it twice an hour.

thought you should know, just in case you didnt, now that you're done. grats on 20 though!

That is good to know, but doesn't really matter cause my FC mates are too cheap to feed other peoples chocos.

I didn't know for quite a while, but back when I got mine to 20, you can log into an alt and feed it from that as well.
