Which is stupid because you usually get a discount on the guide if you buy it with the game but that bundle is just the LE +$35 for the guide which is normal price. I'm waiting on Amazon to put a link up for the limited guide since they usually sell for 40% off cover price where I'd only get 20% off from GS.

Limited supply is fine, as long as we're able to get in before the supply runs out.

The Zelda 3DS was delisted from the website less than an hour after it went live. Hope you weren't asleep or at work/school/whatever! The console can at least still be preordered in store allegedly, but the limited edition of the game is already devoured. It sucks, by the time I even knew it existed it was long gone.

Will depend on the heft of the figure. Amazon.com says the normal edition of the game weighs 4oz, but the statue's going to throw that off. I think it's be safe to say more than one pound, less than 2, 2.5.

Add living in certain time zones to this list. The website sold out in less than 15 minutes. The web-in-store orders had to be done in store, and Gamestop's entire stock was sold out by the time stores were open on the west coast.

A lot of people had 0 opportunity. It's one thing for a limited edition to be a day 1 purchase or something, but it's another if the item sells out in a matter of minutes.

Plus, Nintendo has a proven track record. The 2 zelda items aside, how does Nintendo explain Amiibos and the Gamecube adapter? Those are hardly limited edition collector's items.

-Guy insist that the game is really detailed, looks good, and 3D looks awsome on it

Except you're not paying 350. Not counting tax most you'd pay is 240 for a New 3DS and the game, less if you just buy an older model 3DS/2DS

Get a refurbished 3DS XL + free game online for 150$ and buy the game for 40$.

Refurbished 3DSs from Nintendo come in very good condition. Not expensive at all.

Hearing word Walmart and Target are not doing console preorders specifically because of scalpers. They will have stock on release day however.

Also seems Best Buy is cancelling preorders they are finding on amazom and ebay and will relist them on their website.
