A completely new story-oriented Final Fantasy featuring general director Takashi Tokita, sound designer Naoshi Mizuta, and CyDesignation character designer and illustrator Aiba Ryosuke.

The story of Final Fantasy Legends: Space-Time Crystal centers on “magic that passes through time” and takes players on a ‘grand adventure’ where they’ll cross through time and space. The game will have settings and systems from “various eras” matched for a smartphone-style RPG, and give players the sense of nostalgia they’d have playing Final Fantasy V or VI.

The world of Final Fantasy Legends is divided into the east continent of Azima and the west continent of Westa, which have long battled throughout history. The hero, Tumoro, is based on the small and calm island of Naval located in the center of the continents, where he one day meets a mysterious girl named Emo, who came from the future.

The game’s main story will be completely free-to-play and updated each month when it launches in Japan this winter.
