So this started yesterday it was meh, had it moments and has some potential but I duno

did anyone else catch it?

Yeah it was alright, I like the actors (especially seeing Mr. President Daniel Palmer (or that guy from The Unit) again) but the story didn't catch me. Another savant detective with problems (one of which is trying to light a cigar because we all know smoking on TV is bad) and his team of ethnic diversity hires with unique personalities.

It's as typical as it gets but I'll keep watching for a bit.

Loved it, personally. I mean, it wasn't the best thing evar, but it had some pretty funny moments. Although I can see the "I'm a [bad guy], who needs to [do something]" thing getting old if they keep pushing that down our throats.

I'm still not really sold on this. Amazingly I think Rainn Wilson's the problem (or at least the writing). All the rest of the characters seem good, but it's one of those lead-characters-don't-do-shit-and-let-all-the-lackeys-do-the-real-work-when-they-don't-need-him-to-give-orders things.

I'm mildly hopeful that the plotline with his ex-fiancee will pan out to something interesting but it's still on the bubble for me. The pipeline bomber episode was alright, but honestly if this wasn't set in Portlandia I'd have already quit the show.
