Hnng. Well, it's hard, because the graphic novel is unquestionably its best form - I mean, we're talking about Sandman, which belongs in the discussion as the best content in the entire medium.

But I'm a sucker for Sandman, so I'll be excited to follow this development. Gaiman has a tendency to be very involved in adaptations of his work, so here's hoping. Then again, I've been watiing n that HBO American Gods for forever, so who knows if this will ever even really take off

Makes me wonder what they'll actually try to cover with the movie. There was a script (or a few?) like almost 10 years ago for this; one was pretty decent (http://www.wordplayer.com/archives/SANDMAN.cover.html , great advice site for screen writing, and writing in general).

Preacher is already going to AMC as a TV series, though still no real world on how neutered the grail arc will end up.

Vertigo as a whole is by far my favorite comic brand. I keep an entire row on my bookshelf dedicated to Vertigo graphic novels, including every single graphic novel of Fables, Preacher, and Y the Last Man.
