Well how is the xDamage calculated? For instance old Rudra would be 3x the D value or is it multiplied at the end? Plus the FTP is modified as well

rudras dmg apparently dips really low when mob is high level or low buffs, but i wasnt there to witness what they were doing as far as buffs for each and if it was a decent sample size like when i was witnessing my friend on trash mobs in kamhir

Rudras has no attack bonus, so that's why.

Just in the last group which looks like it really was ftp transfer. They took it out of the potency group

leveling the playing field is long gone when the Devs went apeshit with REM upgrades and stuff like 4 songs, -45 MDT II etc etc etc and recent updates. I know what you mean, but having 1 handers back on equal footing isnt bad (with SAM at least). Seeking balance in FFXI is impossible when the fundamental core mechanics are broken, so embrace the OP and the possibility for people to lowman/solo any kind of event regardless of Job.
