Saying new Jobs doesn't preclude classes. Nor does saying new Classes preclude Jobs. They've shown there's no hard and fast set rules now that Dark Knight is a Job without a class.

I'm really hoping the gun job is the new healer. From what I remember they said the expansion would introduce a new Tank (DRK) DPS and Healer role, and that one of them is the gun job. Either Chemist or some sort of Cannoneer/Flintlock style job from Tactics would be cool.

They (Yoshi-P I guess in this case) keep saying that the gun class won't be what we're expecting it to be. What are the chances it's not even a battle class? o_O

Spy DoH -> stealthily steals info and mats off enemies? Kind of like a miner with mining nodes or a botanist with botany nodes? But more spy-like. Making it more like an actual thief, having to secretly steal shit without getting caught?

Could just be a hunting class, you hunt animals and skin them... for scales/leathers... O_o

The Ragnarok flavor text when you receive it mentions that the weapon was a sword in the past. They know they are trolling and at least admit it this time unlike their stance with the Elder Staff/Omnirod.

I would give a stupid grin if one of the new classes/jobs ends up being one of the unused placeholders from 1.0. Eg. Enforcer, Sentinel, Flayer.
