Someone explain to me how that's competitive in any sense?
Someone explain to me how that's competitive in any sense?
It's not. They're going for shock value.
The only thing going for them is that they have established networks that can reach more people. Most services that offer 1 gig service have limited coverage areas.
lol neither google or comcast are in my area
They are out of their minds rofl.
I might pay it. It's high, but if you're already paying $100...
What's funny is that they have a 105 MB speed that's already $200/month. 25 is $68 and 50 is around $100, but those packages are getting a boost within the next couple of months.
Link with details? It might not be as stupid as it sounds. People with a lot of money or that just really really want high speed without another alternative would still pay it. And if it leads to other prices getting lower as a result maybe it could lead to a cheaper price as it continues on.
So i got the pricing a little wrong for Minneap/StP, but it's still redic for compared to an alternative that is unfortunately only offered in a small section of the city.
Spoiler: show
2GB press release - http://corporate.comcast.com/comcast...-will-take-you

$300 price tage for 2GB (direct source has since been removed) - https://www.dslreports.com/shownews/...a-Month-133733
Speed increases - 50 to 75 | 105 to 150 - http://www.davisenterprise.com/busin...speed-upgrade/
What I personally find fantastic about all this, Verizon FiOS offers nothing over 300mb. Non-rural area of Long Island, NY. Need mah new overlords to start overlording up in dis bitch!
I know this. Our prices are pretty shit because the competition can't compare. The only thing that does compare is the downright stupid customer service.
