Naw it's still Cherche forever but if they're making me choose a new girl in this game, at least I can have this quasi-Cherche.
But really, Cherche:
I still have no idea what maids have to do with fighting, but Japan is compelled to Japan, so I have to let it go.
Nice to see daggers on thieves/assassins.
Coming in 2016 for NA & EU
Two kingdoms at war – the peace-loving Hoshido and the glory-seeking Nohr – It’s up to the player to decide which side to take. As the prince/princess of Hoshido, who was raised by Nohr royal family, you will be torn between two families you love. Whichever path you take, you will face different types of challenges.
Features
- For the first time in the series, the player plays as the main character and commands his or her own army. The player character is customizable avatar, like in the Fire Emblem Awakening game. Select male or female with many options.
- During the game, the player must make the choice between Hoshido and Nohr. Each path will offer a completely different storyline with a different set of characters to recruit as allies.
- The Hoshido path is a more traditional path as you work together with your allies to fend off Nohrian invaders.
- The Nohr path will force you to revolutionize an unruly kingdom from the inside – this path offers a slightly more complex story and will be more challenging.
During the game, the player must make the choice between Hoshido and Nohr
"During the game" is the key phrase. They have been pretty mute on if we were getting the two version treatment over here so I really hope this means were getting one collected edition.
Are we calling this IF or Fates now? Either way, marriage and babies return, and this one will allow same-sex marriage:
http://www.polygon.com/2015/6/23/883...ships-nintendo"We can confirm that Fire Emblem Fates for Nintendo 3DS, which launches in Japan on June 25, 2015, and is coming to the U.S. and Europe in 2016, includes the possibility for a same-sex marriage to take place between the main character created by the gamer and another character in the game," Nintendo said in a statement.
However, we're getting the same two versions over here (and a later DLC version), and it sounds like you can't just marry anyone.
In the Conquest edition of the game, there is a male character that the game's player may have his/her male main character marry after they bond in battle. Similarly, the Birthright edition features a female character that a female main character may marry after bonding in battle. Both of the aforementioned characters can be encountered in the third edition of the game
Same sex marriage is gonna suck cause I'mma make all teh women be lesbians and there ain't gonna be no babies
The females were just much more involved, backstory wise when leveling up trust dealies. That mixed with the art to make them all good looking(Olivia, amirite), the male chars were just whispers. I did enjoy getting Lyn and co on my team but I would have liked some useable interaction between Fire Emblem Characters and Awakening chars. That alone, could have been massive amounts of extra game time too.
Recruit legendary characters through time or someshit, have them interact and level up with your team, get married, get a baby that shared traits. Or breed legendaries with other legendaries.
Lyn, Mathew, and Myrrh will always be my favorite characters in these games
That's... Interesting..
I swear it better not be some mega flamboyant character. (think the priest dude from rune factory oceans)
Pls be a hottie
Knowing Japan though... But hey, step forward! They better not sensor that when they bring it here.
This is the gay male option, Julian:

So... attractive, but a sadist. Baby steps.
Do not want.
Is this for the "New" 3ds or the old 3 ds. I havent bought the new one yet so i hope i can still use my old one i bought specifically for the other fire emblem.
I find it really stupid that they both have the exact same name.
Old 3DS.
