Why is he/she not wearing shoes? Seems like a huge problem on a battlefield..
Speculation is because MU is a manakete, who, for whatever reason, typically don't wear shoes.
Hoping there's some kind of hot volcano zone just for the ensuing webcomic absurdity.
Avatar confirmed. Now all we need is the waifu system.
Reminds me of the twins from FFXIV.
I can kinda see that.
also, Robin v 2.0?
also, Manakete are dragonpeople and as such do not need shoes, no.
I'm figuring that their... albino-ness is going to be some kind of plot point. Child of the moon? Child of the stars? Something.
Don't know how long this image has been out there, but saw it this morning:

Think that's supposed to be MC transforming into a Manakete or something like it.
e: derp
Think he was joking D:
So dragon blood. That must be how she's able to bend her back like that in her human form without fracturing her ribcage.

Weapon durability is apparently gone.
I almost wonder if they're just eliminating durability for easy difficulties, or across the board.
Fire Emblem If will come in two different versions that have their own unique stories and difficulties, but the games will also bring a few new features and changes to the series. This week’s issue of Famitsu provides the latest details. [Thanks, Hachima]
The male protagonist is voiced by Nobunaga Shimazaki while the female protagonist is voiced by Satomi Sato. Similar to Fire Emblem Awakening, though, you’ll get to freely customize gender, looks, voice, and more. The unit type the protagonists will be are called “Dark Prince” and “Dark Princess”.
Fire Emblem If is split into two factions of the White and Black Kingdom. The White Kingdom has key characters such as Ryoma [CV: Yuichi Nakamura], Hinoka [CV: Kaori Nazuka], Takumi [CV: Yuki Kaji], and Sakura [CV: Hisako Kanemoto].
Meanwhile, the Black Kingdom has Marx [CV: Katsuyuki Konishi], Camila [CV: Miyuki Sawashiro], Leon [CV: Mamoru Miyano], and Elise [CV: Ayaka Suwa].
Fire Emblem If will have a the “Casual” mode that will allow your fallen units to return to your party after clearing the map, and will have an even easier mode called “Phoenix” mode, which revives fallen units on the following turn. This should make it easier for those that want to play the Black Kingdom story without the harder challenges holding them back. Keep in mind, however, that once you change a mode or difficulty setting, you will not be able to change it back.
Characters from the royal families have the abilities to make different changes on the battlefield with something known as the “Dragon Pulse”. Some examples of this include building bridges on the battlefield, causing earthquakes, flattening mountains, and all kinds of different changes to the maps.
There’s a total of nine save data slots, and with each additional DLC scenario, it will increase by three more save slots. Additionally, the limited number of times a weapon can be used has been abolished, so that means you won’t have to worry about keep buying the same weapon, or holding back on powerful or useful weapons, and you’ll mainly have to worry about which weapons to equip for certain fights, when given the choice.
I never cared about breaking Iron Swords, I cared about never using the S ranked weapons because I didn't want to break them in case I needed them later. Glad that won't be a concern any more. Kind of makes Rescue and Warp broken as fuck though.
Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn are two of my favourites because a lot of the dope weapons are/can be made unbreakable (moreso in Radiant Dawn, but Ike's Ragnell is retarded in PoR). Awakening too, even if doing so meant burning one of your skill slots on Armsthrift and another on Limit Breaker.
I hope I'm not the only one in RD who carried a shit ton of iron and steel weapons and rarely ever used anything better except on armors. Or used that kickass forged iron sword for practically the whole game.
Hell my favorite part of RD was just unloading all my coins at the end and making bonkers forged weapons for all my babies. Some of them better than the SS weapons.
Who needs forged weapons when you have an unbreakable Sol Katti/Double Bow/Urvan/Bolting?
Unbreakable Bolting/Blizzard/Meteor was hilarious.
Yeah, I was always one of those "I'll save these weapons till I need them. Oh, the final battle? Guess I'll just forget to change my weapons~"
Also, news of more save spots is awesome.
^ That's me in any RPG with the equivalent of elixir and megalixir. Never use em because I wanna save em for when/if I might need them, which never comes, even on the last fight.
