Pretty disappointed on the thf specialization =/
My friend is so butthurt over that it's hilarious. He also says that the specializations Karl McLain worked on are absolute shit.

I am still on the fence about getting the expansion, whats funny is I love this game but do not play it. So wierd lol
I log in now and again to do updates etc but... =/
Core game is free!
^ Emphasizing this. If, for some reason, you're reading this thread and never bought GW2, the base game is now almost totally free. The only restrictions are on things like bag space and stuff, and if you end up buying the expansion later on you get the base game fully unlocked along with it anyway.
Players who bought the game before today get this:First, free accounts start with fewer character slots and bag slots than the paid version of the game. But they still get the full complement of slots as soon as they buy Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns.
Second, free accounts have some chat restrictions and economy restrictions so that they can’t be used to disrupt the game for other players. Free accounts can use local chat and whispers, but not map chat. With whispers, they can both start new conversations and reply to existing conversations but are limited to starting new conversations no more than once every 30 seconds. Free accounts can buy and sell common goods on the trading post. They can’t mail gold or items directly to other players, trade gold for gems, or access guild vaults.
Third, free accounts have some restrictions to prevent them from skipping ahead to places where they could be used to disrupt the game. They must play to level 10 before leaving the starter zones, to level 30 before using LFG, and to level 60 before using World vs. World. They can play PvP immediately but must get to rank 20 before using custom and unranked arenas.
We’ve found in testing that it’s hard to read a list like this and know how it’s going to feel in action. All these changes are live today, so we invite you to see for yourself. Test with a free account and see that it’s the same Guild Wars 2 you know and love; test with a veteran account and confirm that the community is protected.
Here was the live stream for daredevil =/
Dat elite doe
I wasn't expecting staff but frankly I think it looks kind of fun, especially the dodge stuff.
Idk what the deal is for these folks but its easily one of the better specs, and seems to be universally loved on Reddit unlike the Tempest.
Link to new PvE stuff: http://heartofthorns.guildwars2.com/game/raids/
New Thief is going to be obnoxious as fuck to fight and fun as hell to play. 3 dodges and a bunch of ways to regain endurance. If it becomes flavour of the month PvP is going to be dreadful, but I look forward to fucking with it all the same.
Yeah I think I'll give this another shot because I haven't touched it since 2012
Messing with beta this weekend, I play Guardian and thief, so far I am loving dragon hunter but not liking daredevil.
What do you like about DH?
I like the way traps work, bow is a little weak but it has some good utility and support. Ofcourse none of this had ideal gear for each build when I used it, so I am pretty sure it can be better. There is a good synergy DH and greatsword also.
While playing daredevil just feels clunky. I am sure many like it but It just does not feel good to me.
Would you say Longbow will be the new Guardian's ranged weapon?
