Man i want Hammy to come back to wreck Ricciardo's lap! Gotta throw the Hammer time! And c'mon, TG needs to interview the 2014 champion!
I've been down some steep slopes on skis...... I cannot imagine how pants shitting the dam winch must have been.
Given how there seems to be apparently absolutely no other safety measures in case of a snap, yes even I was sort of tense.
Will Smith was awesome on set. Such a fun person
The entire time Hammond was making his way up, I was like "...how will he get back down? Is he gonna get out of the car at the top?" And then the end of the segment lol
Will Smith and Margot Robbie were great. Probably the best guests in a few seasons. Also F that winching up a dam.
Ferrari and Mclaren need to get their shit together.
Forgot to mention about dick in the face 2 weeks ago.... lol. Best episode so far.
Fun episode so far.
Thinking about it, I would really love that black pickup truck for myself, I'm a massive fan of utility. All that room!
Dunno if it's legal to carry people on the behind though. I seen it done once in a film (Due Date).
edit: the scene in question
technically illegal, but in the south no one gets stopped. They always say people will steal from the bed while you are stopped but I've never had anything stolen even when parked at the store. Plus there are tool boxes and bed covers that help that if you live in a bad area. The downside is that Jeremy always picks the sporty version over the off road variant, like when they covered the lightning F-150 way back when.
This whole season has been really good. Clarkson lowering the plow on his porsche and exclaiming "IT'S A RAMBULANCE" got me good. May driving up with a Hearsebulance, Clarkson's face as he tried to do the medical procedure while Stig drove him around the track... and last episode's Peugeot skit was hilarious too.
MANIAC.
Good episode, but I think they probably had 10-15 mins more of the rescue, but had to cut it short due to ep length :/
Jeremy Clarkson suspended by BBC due to "fracas" with producer, next week's show will not air.
Apparently he was already on a final warning and just crossed the line. Hopefully this gets overturned? What am I going to do on Monday nights? (lolUS)
BBC News says "a producer"
Everywhere else says "producer"
One part of me thinks it's outside of Top Gear, the other side makes me wonder if it's internal. They all seem pretty close knitted.
article on Jalopnik says reports Clarkson threw a punch at a male producer during an altercation last week. The alleged fight was only reported to the BBC yesterday. There's no indication who the producer was at the moment, though that term is a wide umbrella on Top Gear.
Welp, that explains the conversations the 3 hosts were having on twitter today lol
yea they seemed to be pretty who cares about it on twitter. So either it's not a big deal or they really don't care if the show is over hah
The sad thing is, this time the incident is internal, rather than external. I can understand if it was something he said on Sunday's episode, but this should be resolved internally.
That, or it's an sublimal advertising stunt for the last 2 eps
