Twine takes a lot (3000?) Allied Seals, turned into Unstained Mark Logs, then turned into Mor Dhana. Unstained Mark Logs also (rarely) drop from A and S ranks.

So the in game menu is a bit misleading for the i90 crafting tool item "recycling"...where it seems to say you get one of the 600-seal items back you get all 3 + the other big item:

Casual to the extreme, if I fuck up I should have some sort of punishment.. not a pat on the back saying try again.

Can I get an NPC if I majestically NQ any of my artisan gear I craft for anyone and get the 3-6 sealant back + mastercraft? I feel along the lines of that when having the option to get materials back because I NQ'd.

It's crafted, 4-star BSM

Are you referring to the Model Magitek Bit? According to xivdb, it appears to be a 4-star BSM synth.

Model Magitek Bit doesn't require any Master books, other than I guess getting the required stats to hit 4-star recipe level
