Probably because it was an easy change to make and there were multiple threads about it on OF that got responses.

Loading tips were also a requested addition on the OF that got a rep response quite awhile ago. Granted those would primarily benefit just PS3 users and folks running on toasters.

That said, it'd be somewhat poetic if you ended your relic by re-grinding the first step (past zenith) to do something else with them instead.

Turn on GC seal boost, spam fates, get moonstones. I'd be OK with that.

I still hate the idea of getting a 135 weapon without doing any difficult content at all. Still hoping for some EX atma.

I seem to remember Yoshi-P saying these weapons would be the strongest going into the Expansion, so who knows, they might troll with i135 or i140 too.

Everyone should take that found data with a grain of salt, BTW. Knowing that Yoshi's team works until the very last possible minute, they could scrap the entire idea as well for something else. It could also be dummied out data that they reallocated elsewhere too. It's interesting because it's still in Japanese, meaning it serves as some sort of placeholder text for later.
