You gotta sort through a lot of shit on that site... old coworker kept buggin me to sign up for it after I left the ex, did that in the beginning of like November just so she'd chill about it and did nothing with it until about New Years. Talked to a girl, met initially for coffee, hit it off like crazy and spent the day together. I've been over at her apt every weekend since lol.

I gave her MHtri to try out since she asked why I was hyped up this weekend. She loves it. Initially I was gunna let her use my old 3DS and just buy her a copy of the game, but I'm gunna surprise her and give her the New 3DS tonight. I think I'm gunna wait out a few months for myself to see if they do any odd shit with price drops or specials or special editions/new colors.

She's gunna go cray.

I want to think it's just women who don't understand what safe BDSM is, but I don't know. I think too many people just hide behind, "It's just a book!" Well, the bible is just a book and look at all the damage that fucking thing has caused, just saying.

I love this comparison and I can't tell you how much I want to strangle the amount of clueless idiots on my Facebook right now. My biggest gripe remains people think this is what bdsm is and it's just not. Sure some loose elements could be but overall it's the lack of ongoing consent that is vital in bdsm that stirs me up.

I've been able to have some great conversations with some people privately and was happy to answer questions how it applies to my life. If people are interested because of this that's one thing but deciding this is what to expect is dangerous. Like anywhere in life predators are around but if people take time to separate fantasy from reality it wouldn't be so bad.

How'd I spend my Valentine's Day?

My mother-in-law flew into Boston on Friday so she could be here for the blizzard.

So yeah, trapped inside my house with my wife and her mom, with huge piles of snow outside. I'm fine, but this sure seems like a "kill me now" scenario.

Maybe it'll happen when I go outside in a little bit to clear the hot water heater vent.
