    Rubeus, Ogier and Athos armors.
    This means enhancing it i.e cruor equipment? If so, maybe a few ogier pieces might be interesting if they increase their bonus(legs/hands).

    Didn't Martel show that Killdar Shield was already more or less as good as Ochain on higher level mobs(more dps absorbed though less freq block rate?) but the Alluvion shield can get the +10% block rate and like 85 DEF and now probably some new third aug, might overtake ochain.

    No, it's looking like the new Skirmish Armors, they're all ilvl and can get augmented.

    I hope one of BLU's new gifts is like Blue Points +5 :/

    So probably WAR/PLD/DRK on Adaman
    SAM/DRK/DRG/BST/PLD/WAR on Ogier
    THF/MNK/BLU/DNC/NIN/COR/RUN/RNG/PUP on Athos
    WHM/BLM/RDM/SMN/GEO/SCH/BRD on Rubeus

    Yeah true, thankfully most players can cap out on the equipment in about 10-15 coffers of the NM, probably fewer now that gil has been removed.


    Also, why the hell do Liij/Durs still give Geodes/Gil but the other NMs do not? That was kinda odd to me..


    Considering how much stronger Thunder is than Stone, and for like 3 MP more...

    At this point they might as well make all Elements the same damage and just allow BLMs to focus on whatever spell the mob is weakest to.

    Here here! There was nothing more annoying than popping a Liij Vok Grand Coffer only to get a bunch of bullshit Geodes. Had one LS member rage when everyone of his crates popped out Geodes.

    I think that was lower level mobs though the jse one is slightly better with reprisal up. Also more total dmg prevented doesn't necessarily mean better anyways

    The said some gifts were adjusted...hope they don't mean nerfed.


    Also they said client will crash when you move menus from job points->gifts and then cancel. So be wary.

    Refractive Crystals are probably gonna cost 15-20k accolades.
    Yeah they may but remember they said unity coffers now drop refractives so almost better to just do unity.

    It's possible they will be a comon drop from coffers as well as purchasable. I'm going to pop like 50 I've been sitting on pre update tomorrow night when I have time to play.

    It's not actually that much stronger. Assuming no gearing differences 100 dint and it's only about 6% stronger... however, outside of ToTm staffs no nukers get thunder affinity while there are a few earth ones so iirc my stone does about the same as my thunder with null weather/day. Of course since I can sandstorm and rarely get a sch to storm me stone actually ends up dealing more. Also higher tiers are actually slightly better dps with good fast cast sets

    All tier 6 elemental spells are in for black mage at 100 job points.
    Geomancer gets all tier 5 at 100 job points.
    White Mage gets Reraise IV, small weakness duration

    Gifts go to 210

    Umm, no. Killedar was only better than Ochain on the test server when it had 215 shield skill.

    On lower crap it can be good due to high dmg- and reasonable block rate, but on high tier stuff it's gonna get it;s ass kicked. Keep in mind, killedar tests were way back during early/pre ilvl. And on lvl 105 mobs iirc. As mob level has continued to rise, killedar block rate has tanked.

    Getting interrupted like mad while wearing Ochain is really annoying. I guess SE's way of nerfing Ochain, was to make new mobs so freaking high leve, you feel like you're playing lvl 75 PLD again. -.-;
    Killedar is seriously not even in the running.

    I'd have to run numbers on Svalinn, once we have new data, but I doubt it'll overtake Ochain on high tier content.

    I can't recall if I ever ran anything on the current Svalinn either... I'd have to check my notes.
