For Doomsday what would win, getting capped AGI or STR/AGI, or getting capped Weapon DMG?
I assume it's the Weapon DMG, but asking anyways. Also if it is the DMG that's best to get, say I was to get capped AGI or STR/AGI, how much +DMG would it take to beat the capped augment on STR/AGI?
Like many Anni rangers out there .... I'm trying to Aug the alluvion bow. Got some luck on Dusk, base dmg +29 after 7-8 +1s, Still need a bit of work on snow but i've got +15/15 so not terrible. But that last aug is killing me. I've pumped over 60 leafslit and 70 leaftip stones of varying quality (most were stored) into this bow and haven't seen a single WS dmg aug. Both BG and the charts on FFXIAH show it coming from both, which I was skeptical of considering all the "bad rolls". But I'm seeing stp left and right from both, so ws dmg from both isn't all that odd. Can anyone confirm what stone they've used for WS dmg on weapons and if its more likely from one stone or the other?
I've gotten wsdmg from the gun on both but it's pretty rare
Eh, I'll just keep throwing gil at it then, just wanted to make sure I was on the right track.
Posting the BST set of our local "I have unlimited Gil" JP:
How accurate are the categories on the Alluvion Skirmish Armor BG wiki page? I just threw two stacks of snowtip stones at a Yorium Cuirass, and didn't get a single example of attack, accuracy, magic attack bonus, or magic accuracy.
If they're 100% known to be true, then is it possible different stones have different probabilities for certain stats in relation to one another?
So, I just got this. I came back not long ago and have been struggling with augments, is it better than DMG+15 (the augment it has right now)?

Chances are that I won't be trying to augment it any further, so both augments would be final, or at the very least here for several weeks.
Depends on your TP build but I doubt the save TP would change anything for your ws frequency. I'd probably stick with DMG +15 even if it is far from the cap. DMG augments are annoyingly rare to get.
i had a similar issue the other day,i think it was dmg+32/acc+19 with either wsdmg+6% or storetp+8. it was on that screen for awhile, but i ended up just keeping the store tp. (im not sure that it was the best choice lol)
how does a nene with dmg32/acc+19/stp+8 (or if wsdmg+% is better than STP?) stack up against other options? i mean it seems to do really well, with the tp sets i have made for it, but im honestly not sure.
I would have gone with WS damage, mostly because Store TP is so easy to get and with its delay it's already easy to get a 4 hit, not sure if a 3 hit is possible but I've never added up all the store TP SAM can get in theory.
I am procrastinating actual work, so here it goes:
Let's see. Nene is 131 TP/hit... base For a 3 hit you need 155 sTP. SAM with max gifts and merits has 44 in traits, so 111 in gear...
neglecting weapon we have max per slot..:
grip: Bloodrain +6
ranged: Cibit +7
head: Kasaga +1 +10
neck: Dakatsu +1 +6
ears: Tripudio/Neritic +5/+4
body: Kasaga +1 +12
hands: Ogier's +10
rings: Rajas/K'ayres +5/+5
back: Takaha +13
waist: Sweordfaetels +1 +6
legs: Acro +10
feet: Usu +1 +9
This sums to 108. So you'd need 3 sTP on the weapon to manage it at all, *and* you'd have to WS in all of that, *and* you have huge sacrifices in e.g. multi-attack and acc. (Alternately you could eat carbonara and drop a few sTP somewhere, but still, so bad.)
So: Technically possible, terrible idea.
