Yes, as far as I can tell it's like
Bronze = 1-2 star cards (highest i've gotten is a 2)
Silver = 1-3 star cards (highest i've gotten is a 2)
Gold = 2-5? star cards (highest i've gotten is a 3)

I would say Gold would be the only ones worth getting because they're the most likely to give you both a good card as well as one you don't have (due to the increased pool of cards) but we all know the odds are probably massively weighted to giving the same 2-3* ones -_-
3000 GP, 5 godberts, and no bahamut. Getting old fast.
Anyone put together a timetable of NPCs? I'm lazy
Been doing a TON of Triple Triad for MGP. Farmed about 70k so far! Just one more minion and I'm done with those.

Coincidentally Rocl, and others, that website tells you what "Card Packs" give what. Apparently the gold pack can give Warrior of light, a 5 star.
I was blasting through King w/e his name is for about 3500 GP with no Bahamut. Now I don't know if the npc is learning or whatever but I've dropped to like 10% win rate over the past 30 or so battles with no change to the deck.
Besides standard abuse of plus rule is there any trick to reliably beating him? What decks were you all using when you got your bahamut?
I have Moogle, Ixal, Kobold, Chocobo, Godbert saved from when I farmed Elmer, though I haven't fought him in some time.
Took something like 60 wins versus Rowena to get Louisoix, couple that with her Random rule and just imagine how long I spent draw/losing.
EDIT: Fucking ten cards from next deck tier and only like 7 left attainable from winning matches
Your brain is beginning to liquefy, I suggest you take a break.
You can beat him with any number of combinations of just 1* cards since it's all about exploiting Plus.
If you want a few ideas this video is good at showcasing it, even if you know what you're doing sometimes seeing an alternate/different method can help connect some new dots.

I was going to say that as well, haha.Your brain is beginning to liquefy, I suggest you take a break.
Also if you do really bad against some of those starter npcs, I think the game upgrades your deck using your cards. I had this happen yesterday: http://bucket.bluegartr.com/f03e3f15...edc247ca83.png (The bottom left 2star was mine.) Either that or I somehow glitched the game to give me two 2stars.
Are you on the way to 60? You might have to do tournaments/do achievements for the others if you have already farmed all instance-related cards.
I used the starter strategy until I got Godbert and started using a Moogle/Sabotender/Godbert/Bomb/Ixal deck for all of my King farming. I don't know what is better for now but this works for me.
i did the ixali daily chief NPC for 3 hours, got 6 biggs/wedges card nothing else
wife did it for 30 mins, got 1 behemoth, 3 cid and no biggs
i got bahamut in 1 hour, she didnt get it for 2 days
fucking RNG
It's terrible. People been getting bahamut within 10 shots, I got cid on 3rd ixali win, and we did about 20 almost? Ultima hard modes, everyone got 2-4 and I never saw one.
I can't even fight the Ixali guy because I don't like dailies.
I stumbled upon a deck/algorithm that massacres Sezul 9 out of 10 times.
Minfilia Moogle Coeurl Goobue Amaal'ja. Always play Minfilia bottom left corner on your first turn whether you go first or not. Box in the mid-left space with Moogle if Cid's top left, or top-left with Coeurl if he plays Cid mid-left. Bait out a combo path until 2-3 squares are left, then toss down Coeurl/Goobue to unleash it. The only times I've drawn or lost was him stuffing the same or plus hole randomly with Ultima instead of taking an easy flip.
I then pulled 2 more.
Fuck this game.
How many instance only cards are there? Really only resubbed for TT. Dont want to deal with trials and shit.
Haven't played any of my jobs in 6 months and laptop doesn't have my hotbars, etc etc.
Like 10? Not 100% sure though, I guess someone should try to figure out the pack pools
