Teaser for continued story from the end of Type-0
I know Qal posted this in the other thread, but it clearly deserves it's own.
Teaser for continued story from the end of Type-0
I know Qal posted this in the other thread, but it clearly deserves it's own.
at the time I hadn't watched it for fear of spoilers and didn't want to make a thread in case I was being trolled
In the "History of XV" video I think they mentioned wanting to make more Type-X games so it was only a matter of time. If XV sucks, can we just kill off the main series and let Type-X take over?
Or let SE tinker with as many belt laden QTE hallways they want with the main series, but allow the "Type" brand to be something a touch more traditional.
Not watching yet, because I've done well not to be spoiled on anything Type-0 at all. Hoping they take notice the success Type-0 and Bravely Default have had and concede that all is not right in the house Lightning built.
What's the chance of this being that new game we've been trying to figure out lately?
Nothing about Type-0 is traditional though and since Bravely Default fills that niche quite nicely I'd like Type-series to be more action based. FF main series can do whatever, but considering XV is basically an action game idk about the overlap. If anything, I'd like more games in this style.
That was Spelunker Z or whatever trolltastic idea SE thought would make a good teaser.
Eh, I know it isn't FF9 traditional Elcura. But to me it seems to grasp more of the series "traditional" points than the more current titles do even though it isnt turn based you hit me i hit you.
When you play it, you'll see that its pretty much not a traditional FF at all.
This is a good thing though.
So how does this work? Title of the video says it continues after the story from Type-0. I am still keeping clear from spoilers related to Type-0, so I haven't watched this video either. Or is it like the main titles where each installment is a new story and all that stuff?
It would pretty much have to be and that video implies it too. It doesn't look like it has anything to do with the world of Type-0.
The only thing that even makes it look remotely related is that guy kinda looks like Ace and says the whole "We have arrived" deal.
type-0 was class 0
type-1 could be class1
Type 1 sounded better than type 0-2. It's just a placeholder.
wouldnt rule it out.
didnt they already file trademarks for type 1 2 and 3 "just in case"?
The working title for this is "Type-Next."
