Damn, was hoping we'd see that..
Damn, was hoping we'd see that..
Spoiler: show
There you go.
Doesn't seem like we have seen too many of these SS, I'm sure rng rate is abysmal.
Wow!
3 runs in my ls (4?) since the campaign, 18 people in, not even one mail yet.
But we don't count I guess, we're a bit below 0/300 pluton kills :D
For the people who do Vagary consistently, is it just accepted that the amorph zone is a crapshoot regarding the pillars? Or is there actually a tactic I missed?
Pattern not found doesn't mean there isn't a pattern. I've ruled out anything relating to time of day entered, day of week entered, moonphase entered, current day, current moonphase, current time of day. Current (completely unsupported) idea is that it may have a few preset configurations. That would allow you to find boss within a reasonable amount of pillars without completely giving away 3/3s.. and it's not completely without precedent(saving private ryaaf comes to mind). Don't have the patience to spam runs though, so gathering data is a crapshoot.. if I get a Rancibus win I would rather grab the accompanying KIs and redeem them then waste it spamming more.
I often get asked how I farmed all my own sweats for amalric +1/how I sell so many Vagary mats, so finally had a friend record one of my runs. Figure this is still the best place to post with the event going on still and people interested in Vagary again.
4-box. PLD/BLM/SCH/GEO + Trusts.
good vid, amchuchu ftw
Thanks for posting that Ejiin! Nice video.
Got some requests for other zones, so here's Plouton+Perfidien 4-box.
Impressive stuff. But really, 2 idris mules?!?! dafuq maet D:
Getting full HQ Amalric that fast was possibly more expensive than getting 2 Idrises, if you were making it a matter of how expensive it is.
In case it has never been mentioned there is a pattern to Plouton/Perfidien's current element:
If you are doing 0 damage nukes, it is always 2 stronger elements away. I.e.: If you are casting fire, its new element is thunder. fire > water > thunder.
If you are curing it with nukes, it is always 1 stronger element away. I.e.: If you are casting fire, its new element is water. fire > water.
That's because Plouton and Perfidien choose an element to be each time they shift. That element heals them, the element they're strong to does 0, and the element they're weak to procs them. In the first example, Plouton was water element, while in the second, he was fire element.
