I could go for some handheld releases. They're using Unity, can't be that long of a dev cycle to adapt it for n3DS/Vita post-console release. Both platforms are starving for anything in the 3d platformer/collect-a-thon category.

It's a stretch given how asstarded people act these days (omg this is sexist! bla blah bla) but hell this could pave the way for an actual revival of forgotten series or even 'HD Rematers' of some older ones with additions (if licensing allows.)

Hopefully this game ends up good so it can actually open those doors for the future.

I'm kinda in the same boat hence the mention. If it's a traditional 3d platforming collect-a-thon it'd work well in a portable play-for-15-minutes format.

At least David Wise's on board, so I'll have something to listen to regardless of the game's quality.

This is pretty much par for the course when it comes to these guys and Banjo-Kazooie. The game is basically one giant "getting crap past the radar" in vidya form and it's part of what people love about the series. Search around on youtube for the first two Banjo games and you'll find they stick shit like this everywhere.
