Shanoa was pretty cool, and I wished I could have played Harmony of Despair. I can't imagine having to go from making great games like those to being "placed within the mobile division". I'd have bailed the fuck out as well.

Same. Other than the obvious SOTN love, Ecclesia was my favorite followed by the Sorrow games.

this is the correct order, although I've always been of the opinion that Portrait of Ruin is criminally underrated.

the PSP version was a shoddy crapfest minimal-effort afterthought port that wouldn't be worth your time if it wasn't SotN.

    Spoiler: show
but it is SotN so... 10/10

god damnit this thread is making me want to dig my 3ds out.

Actually, that's probably why its on PSP rather than 3DS. Easier to do and... lets face it, this is Konami.

Beta access on Steam for all $60+ backers (if you're getting the PC version, of course) according to an email I just got!

    that's... really, really awesome.

I'll probably end up upping my pledge before the end of the campaign, but I'm torn on actually touching the Beta when it comes around. Discord Games has been doing iterations of their game Chasm and after the 5th time retreading the same ground I'm almost sick of it and dropped it entirely till it's finished.

Still lacking the 'backer achievements' to see the entire list of dungeon stretch goals, but we can see down to the 3mil goal being a Wii U port. Not sure if anyone here is waiting for that specific platform or not though.

WiiU port funded. Asynchronus multiplayer added at $3.25mil, and Vita port at $3.5. Both ports to be handled by Armature, who's past experience primarily involves Vita releases/ports, most notably Batman:AC Blackgate.

Why's he fighting Staryus and Starmies?

Looks nice so far. I'm glad he mentioned that he dislikes precise jumping as an obstacle.

That was, by far, my favorite takeaway from the whole video. I also agreed wholeheartedly with his sentiments about the movement speed of the character being important and the animation being more of a jog-like thing. She seemed to be moving at a good pace but because of how fast she was going across the screen it was kinda like she's just power-walking around the whole castle and for some reason that kinda tickles me.

Pyrite Coin = NEW GAME PLUS

(too bad that's probably the $5M reward)

I'd be willing to bet though that NG+ ends up in the final product.

I had planned to back it and just hadn't gotten around to it. The WiiU port made me go straight to my computer and do it ($125 so I get Steam too).
