I'm thinking about it to be honest...but got back into SWTOR to finish off my IA storyline plus SoR Expac.
This is going to be a clusterfuck until at least Luclin if they don't tone down the Monk fist/Mage pet stuff.
Supposedly the Monk Fist damage and Mage Pet stuff is so rolled into the server code that they cannot remove it without impacting the rest of the live servers. The progression server would need a standalone client if that is the case.
If they started around Velious/Luclin, we wouldn't be stuck watching the shitfest that is about to unfold.
Would love to get in on this as I loved Classic through Velious but I just don't have the time to put into the game to be even remotely competitive so I think a lot of the fun would be lost.
Well the progression server launched today, and it didn't go so well. Apparently there was a exploit that players could do to immediately make themselves lvl 50 with full defiant gear and have been running around buffing, killing high level mobs, sharing the loot/plat. I guess they really do Day Break Games.

Daybreak wiped the server, but they never fixed the problem. So after the wipe people were getting to 50 again. /le sigh. Anyway I think they have given up on trying to fix this today and will try again tomorrow.
Still considering jumping on this for the nostalgia factor alone. Working with support to try to recover my account though as I haven't played in over 10 years.
After seeing a picture of 70+ in Crushbone, with 3-4 groups competing for Throne Room only for a Mage bot group to roll up: fuck that.
Vox, Nagafen and Inny are already down. CT is the only one remaining for vanilla.
So many memories.. I miss EQ so much but the only fun I've had with it recently was in 2009 when I found a private server that was progression based. It worked well and even had hell levels built in. But now with my carpal tunnel I doubt I could play.
