Nobody's talking about how badass its going to be to fight pages from FFV? I remember that dungeon fondly. I also remember picking up ifrit in there and burning the shit out of everything else in the dungeon. That'll be fun again.

How can you hate the 4x Demon Wall!? It is such an intense fight where failure means certain....continuation from where you left off.

I try not to because then I remember more about FFV and how much I loved it and then I remember about the synergy about Omega Weapon and Shinryu (V/Advance/XI) and how Omega was developed to seek out and destroy Shinryu and how in XIV terms Omega would be a pissant 4 man dungeon boss and Shinryu in some optional content that'll get nerfed down 5 times before the OF is happy. Then I get depressed.

Seriously though, the library immediately made me hope to see every enemy from V's Ancient Library there.

Is a good thing there's a slider bar for that crap in the game client. A lot of the black end of the colours got crushed in the benchmark on my monitor.

I looked at Heavensward more as FFXIV ARR: Religion is Bad! Reminds me of Breath of Fire 2 and the countless other JRPGs that have religious leaders as the big bads, usually as demons in disguise.

Replace FF with JRPG and you're basically right. Most of the Breath of Fires deal with it. Its either the old "Empire going Ham", the "Demon replaces head of religion to take over the world" or "Demon/Space thing is hungry for the planet" trope, but its cool. Much like anything else, its all in the application.
