Summer 2015 Anime Season Thread

I'm really liking the whole mystery whodunit aspect over generic fantasy anime. I heard that there are something like 9 volumes of source material, too.

Yeah, today's episode of Overlord was fucking sweet. Looks like it's gonna get even better when Ainz and Narb get back to Nazarick.

Narb's bit was fantastic. Ainz was kind of underwhelming for me but I think that's purely because his over-powered'ness has been hyped on here and he was holding back a lot the entire time. I am excited for this next part though

I think it was good that they let one of his members steal the spotlight rather than him taking all the glory.

But with that "arc" sort of done, I find myself more excited for the next episode of Gate than Overlord right now. I guess we gotta wait and see where Overlord goes from here.

They hinted that somehow every time the "facility" was one step ahead. Its probably at one point the facilities intention for Yu to gain these super powers to be used for some intention, if not some evil intention of his own that has lead to a future self to create the facility and gain all these powers maybe? Something like an alter ego or split personality he develops that hungers for power, and can see 1 step ahead of his past self and is slowly taking all these powers for himself

Well that seems a bit confusing, tl;dr its possibly a alternate reality/future self that is "the facility" I think O_o

If he went back in time to save Ayumi, then doesn't that mean that he didn't meet that singer, and she didn't sing for whatsherface's brother and that he's still as batshit insane as before, as opposed to being on the road to recovery like he was before he went back in time?

Also, if the singer went blind, what kind of power did she have I can't help but wonder

overlord goin fast paced compared to the lightnovel (skipped a few little things) but at least.. we will get to see the...

shalltear vs albedo fight in the next episode depending on how much time they spend going over him going through the vault and getting gear. although I feel they will make it short considering the bits they spiked with shalltear.
