CP Bonus Gift

Is there a conclusive answer on whether these add up or just replace one another?

Also whether or not they go cross-job to make other jobs easier?

I've heard both answers for both things.

I did some of my own testing with the 5% vs the 7% gift last night, and I had a total of 49% bonus (with the 5%) and I killed monsters until I got a few that gave me 669 (there were 2 different values) which gives me 449 base, letting CP chain reset every time. Then I spent to get the 7% and I went back and off the lower base mobs that I was killing before I got 700 per kill. Which I'm assuming means the 7% added? cause if it didn't it would have been 678 right?
