didn't pretty much all of the key staff from the chrono games move on from square many, many years ago? hard to be excited even if they do end up announcing a real deal sequel. unless they can rope in mitsuda for another go, then i can officially get excited about it. until both of those things are confirmed, meh.

Considering the age of the Chrono games it wouldn't be surprising that everyone involved is long gone. Turnover at gaming companies doesn't stop people from getting excited at the prospect of new releases from Bioware or other similar companies with big fanboy followings.

Please yes. With IZJS. I have the english patched version to use on emulator, but would much rather playing it on my PS4. With hopefully better audio, since if I remember correctly, the audio was kinda muffled in the original.

Vaan isn't the main character, and in general isn't a great character. If you remove Vaan and Penelo from the story, the game would be the exact same or even better. The real main characters are Ashe and Balthier and to an extent Basch. Vaan seems like he was placed in last minute as a character for people to relate too. The game is seen through his eyes in the beginning but quickly fades to focus on the others.

He was added well after the fact, it's been admitted as much from what I remember. His appearance was modeled after some J-Pop star of the time. The original lead was supposed to Basch.
