FUCKING YESGear from the following trials and duties will now be accepted for expert delivery missions.
Soldiery Gear / Poetics Gear / The Second Coil of Bahamut / The Final Coil of Bahamut / The World of Darkness / The Whorleater (Extreme) / The Striking Tree (Extreme) / Akh Afah Amphitheatre (Extreme)
Determination IV legit dropped from 600k to 200k after patch notes on my server, lol.
Well shit- all the Fieldcraft 3s are damn near gone
Ya'll mother fuckers always find a reason to be mad
I would say sucks for people who put det on their relics (toot toot), but relics won't matter so I don't think anyone should care.
So why the determination nerf anyway? Was it unbalanced? I mean, the buff to Critical would've evened it out I feel.
The effect is only nerfed on AAs so I feel it's just an incentive to not make Det an autopick in the NA community (as opposed to, I dunno, making Speed buff autoattacks in some way too).
Really I don't think the secondary stat meta will change significantly (citation needed). The most pressing issue will be finding out how good the new Speed is now.
DET was pretty strong and was basically the go-to stat for everything. They also brought back Crit Attack Power from 1.0 and just combined it with CRT.
Also, Skill and Spell Speed materia started selling like hot cakes on my server a couple mins after Patch Notes went up lol.
I'm glad I went with crit/acc for my zeta lol (scholar)
That's what is utterly mystifying. If the devs felt it to be unbalanced, then just reduce the amount of it on gear. Then again, was it so bad that auto-attacks weren't utter dog shit? They do comprise a decent amount of your damage output.
The option(s) they went with just seem to make it like Critical Hit Rate will be the new Determination, and that'll be on the nerfing block next. It seems really dumb on their part to do all this when DET and CHR weren't really that far apart in terms of their weight per point (for most jobs). To top it off, they basically went and created the same issue that might have motivated this heavy-handed nerf to Determination..
I think it is just their way of nerfing down melee damage to counteract the sps/sks buff. Im sure in an ideal world they do not want the disparity in dps between monk and smn to be as wide as it was in 2.xx
Was surprised to see lv 50 job quests. I guess that's where I'll start instead of MSQ.
