Escha Broken????

Ok so, I go ahead and send my pet to attack an eft, auto attacks a couple times, and then I heel it, so it comes back to me and follows me again, with the eft on it of course.

(This is how BST aoes, they make pet attack enemy, heel, sneak/invis and run around while pet gets all links, and then aoe ready)

I spectral jig (NOTHING IS ATTACKING ME) and INSTANTLY sneak and invis falls off.

This does not happen anywhere except escha, what is going on?

If you just let your pet AA the mob a few times and that is all, then you used heel in range, it attacked you. Log might not have shown it due to lag or whatever, but that has been a thing for like 15 years.

Heel generates enmity, if your pet hasnt generated more enmity than using heel, you get hit. General rule of thumb I follow is 10% hp before I use heel. Spectral Jig also generates enmity.

Can't you also run >30 away and get 0 hate? Or is Heel a JA you need to be nearby fo?

I think you would be fine if you:

Fight a mob you don't have hate on yet, run 30 away, heel, spectral jig, and then train / aoe.

I don't remember if 30' away is the exact distance, but yeah if you're far enough away reward/heel/etc. won't put you on the hate list.

Yeah if you're far enough away, prob 30', won't get hate.

While not really applicable for bst since everything is <t> or <me> Remember that on things that'd don't target mobs it's 30' between the mob and the target of the ability/spell
