Transferring music from ipod to Iphone

Is there any way to transfer my playlist from an ipod touch 3rd generation to an Iphone 4s?

Just got the iphone and I don't want to have to redo my music from scratch.

I don't have the music files in itunes (though I do on my computer)

Is there any easy way to just xfer my playlists? or at least copy my playlists into itunes from ipod and then just add them to the iphone?

Yah, you ought to be able to import from your ipod, and then sync them to your phone.

But apple does not make this stuff intuitive when using a PC, you're gonna have to google to find the solution.

You can copy your files without using iTunes if you want. When you plug in your iPod you can explore to it just like an external hard drive. It should allow you to copy the files onto your computer and then copy those to your iPhone. I don't think playlists will be in the same folder, but you may find the list on the iPod somewhere.

If you want to use iTunes, then when you plug in your iPod it should pop up in iTunes and automatically sync the music from it as Buffy said.
