last I checked, essential services are things that you need to properly survive:
heating
water
electricity
telephone
Contrary to popular belief, you're not going to die because you cant watch Family Guy or because you cant camp Fafhogg every day.

You don't need electricity or telephones to survive. Heating and water will do just fine.Originally Posted by NynJa

I should have left telephone off. I was debating it, hence why I put it last.
Being 'kinda stupid' is very different from breaking a law.So to take the same exemple, lets say you bought the car, it works fine, but one month after the purchase, a small piece of the motor breaks. So you call the mechanic guy, but he tells you "Sorry dude, drop the key, and go buy another car". Kind of stupid isn't it?
Lylie plz stop talking, before I sue you.
Also some places are heated by electricity instead of gas. Not to mention that refrigerators run off of electricity. I would put telephones as essential just because of 911 services.Originally Posted by NynJa
And cable is not essential. I have satellite service and I like it a lot better. :D
The only chance of throwing class action at SE would probably be on grounds of Discrimination. Which is more than probable in some cases too. When I brought up a complaint to them (over the phone mind you), they got kinda pissed when I brought that up, so obviously they're having some issues internally about that.
