Wouldnt it be easier to do alluvian skirmish Yorcia than vagary for those elementals? Arent all of them in there?

Depends... on an actual run people probably be mad you just playing with it trying to solo you have to worry about the fort
beat a fort to 1% on the first floor, farm elementals for spells for a full run?
0/5 means literally nothing. If you get to 0/1000 then you might be able to say it's impossible. Multiple people have reported learning from Yorcia alluvion.
I did say "seems like", plus I went 1/1 or 1/2 on the rest, so 0/5 seemed rather unlikely
If you use a T3+ body, mostly for time, and sash you can use Kirin and completely ignore the marshland while you run around looking for eles. Kirin will summon all four shijin and kill anything that pops on the first floor and since a player has to get the killing blow you can stay on that floor till time runs out. I was able to get most of the spells in one run doing this.
Okay, absolutely able to learn from Yorcia Alluvion. Finished all my spells now. Just a tip: Do it solo. Adding more BLUs just increases your chances of them being horrible and having them pull multiple eles to you and getting you killed.
Can confirm, learnable in alluvion yorcia. Just finished by getting the last two spells from Baelfyrs. I didn't even use the learning chance hands, got Blinding Fulgor off the first one then Searing Tempest a few kills later. I happened to jump in to a group that was doing 3/3/3s, so it was just like a regular run, except the magic was a bonus.
Anyone have any reports on the potency of these debuffs?
I believe Tenebral Crush was reported to be a whopping 20% defense down, while Saurian Slide was 25% attack down. Silent Storm also seemed to be an exceptionally potent silence.
From what I saw in the ffxiah thread:
blinding fuglor: 12s flash
silent storm: ~5 minute silence
searing temptest: 29/tick burn, -63 int
palling salvo: 15/tick bio, -10% atk
scouring spate: -20% atk
saurian slide: -25% atk
tenebral crush: -20% defense
Maybe he meant it was broken and functioned like mute does.
I meant that it lasts a particularly long time. My mistake for not clarifying.
With the defensive options added via traits and spells this patch, how viable do you lot think BLU would be as a hybrid physical/magical tank? I was thinking of trying to put together a tanking set to try it out, but my gear is fairly lacking currently. At the very least I think it would be worth adding some of the new spells to our solo kit.
Duration of Tenebral Crush's defense down is 3 minutes.
Has anyone ever tested the enhances burst affinity on the ilvl af1 pants? I assume they work the same way as emp feet, but do they need to stay equipped on spell cast? If they do, would they ever be worth using over hagondes?
