if you have bookmarks that are from "theorderls" for the ffxi section, changing them to "bluegartrls" should fix it.

I have a bunch of videos you could show him. My RL friend asked me for them yesterday to do just the same thing, get another friend into XI.

They're all little stories and stuff and you'll find BCs, PvP, and several jobs featured. A little heavy on the DRG though. The job looks great from the outside looking in so don't tell him it stinks until he's hooked
