I think/hope J-Man will be the character to stay dead. Wasn't it mentioned by Kabutorochimaru that he couldn't get Jiraiya's DNA because his body was so deep underwater? I can easily see Minato filling into Jiraiya's place should all the Sannin team up with their protege's

I've said before that Jiraiya will be back. He can't be edo tensei'd because he didn't die. Bodies don't sink in water until they are crushed by pressure. Pain just said these things cause he had a soft spot for J man. I also said that Sasuke and Naruto are going to have sex.
