funny thing about ibtl is that most threads where people say that don't get locked. Or they do but only after 5 pages from the first person who said it and a tubgirl/meatspin post.

Those should be judged on a case by case basis imo. If used wisely, sparingly and with suitable wit, I think they have their place, but yeah 99% of them are worth a ban. There's the rare occasion where something so utterly stupid is worth that kind of attention, like a new Grunion pearl of 'wisdom'
