If you do that, you're probably going to get questioned more often. Think of how suspicious it's going to look when a GM sends you a /tell, and then you red dot. Why not just respond instead?

Cause it's easier to make ffxi crash on gm tell while fully afk than make you character do w/e it is asked to do.

I've asked a GM what would happen if I dcd right after they asked a question. They didn't really answer the question but said it would be suspicious

I have personally DC'ed myself on GM tell once(thru 3rd party), and when i logged back in, in the morning, I was fine, not in jail, still at the fishing spot I was fishing over night.

On another note, I read through the whole thread over the past 3 weeks at work, and there is two points I really wanted to mention.
A) The whole 12 above and 24 below levels or tiers for fishing was discovered in 2006 by Apocalypso of Asura (ME) on Titanictus.com, so nothing new, just thought I'd throw that in there.
B) dasva, your posts around the 200 page mark of this thread were ridiculous to read in the sense that they made no sense. Reading your posts in the 400+ range shows that you've developed some grammar and spelling skills, congratulations!

I have to say though, he's not the only one who noticed.

On Valefor, with the number of people at glacier, I'm surprised that more people don't get busted. Or is it that only specific people are being GMed?

So am I correct in assuming that buying Gugrus/Liks would be a better choice for getting an Ebisu VS trying to get them myself with a Lu Shangs? I have woodworking at like 104 so I can repair it while I'm out. Wondering if it's worth it even then.

And getting ahead of myself, but how do you guys favor Sardine Ball VS Bluetail Slices for Haks? The lazy person in me kinda wants to stock up on the latter despite the less yield per synth because I hate handling tons and tons of single-items when I'm crafting bulk items (Horo Flour in this case).

Only reason I fished my own was because there where almost no erods. Now it is far better to just buy them and call it a day.

I usually see better results with bluetail slices but I stick with sardine balls because of the yield.
