I took this wonderful opportunity to NOT insult dasva, I really am glad his writing is readable to the human eye. I wasn't insulting him, quite the opposite.
My point was however, through 200 pages of filler with a whole lot of nothing, that was the main thing that I noticed.

Well I don't bother with the last bit till I get ebisus but I got to 90 on my last character a little over a month after I made it... I always kinda used a combination of Kida's and nashmau. Skilling up doen't change much

IIRC frog lure or lizard lure will target gavials exclusively if that's what you're after.

Idk if they stopped this round but I started fishing again and there are tons of peeps up there. But I would basically assume they always might be checking because well you never know when they will until people start qqing about getting banned. I'd rather be the guy that just complains I had to respond lol

Where do you guys fish sardines? Otherwiki suggests mhaura, but my bite breakdown there is around 90% yellow gloves, 5% items, 5% sardines..

I dunno, I find Mhaura best. I've also tried Selbina and South Gustaberg and they work well. I find port windy pretty awful if you want sardines, you get nothing but ripped caps.

I'm pretty sure I tried this trick and it worked - the cap is r/ex, once you fish one up, keep it in inv (or keep one perm. in storage or something) and I don't think you will fish another one up.

I remember doing that back in the day... however I'm not sure it actually replaces those with fish. I beleive when I'd fish up and keep monsters for matsya it seemed to replace them with no bites but yay for keeping bait

I've confirmed in various tests that the data holds true and I'm hoping to have others confirm it as well. The information in that thread (if indeed confirmed true) can be used to accurately determine the fish caps for all 100 - 130 fish using any rod.

So im hearing GM's arent even sending /tells anymore they are just giving you dialog box's.... I have yet to see actual proof of this. Along with the 5+ times i have only seen a GM /tell myself and 0 boxes.I have been hearing he said she said nonsense for years about this. Has anyone actually proven it anywhere?

No one has ever shown a screenshot of it, however, located somewhere in this thread is the PDF of the GM tools that are available to them. One of them is a box where the GM can create whatever answer options he/she wants.

I'm glad someone is still working on this. If my memory serves me correctly there is even something wrong with the original deplete/stagnant/regen ranges based on using non-lu/ebisu rods, you may want to check back a year or so in this thread. Sadly, I'm not really a math guy and I seemed to have a lot of unknown variables that I was trying to calculate when the cap was 100 and there were very few ebisus in the high 70s and low 80's to verify numbers. If Titanictus are indeed 102 or 103 whatever is on the ffxievo page I'd love to see that proven through someone simply catching 200+ of them at that skill level without another skill up. It would give more credence to the skill cap determination method we both used. I had a theory that I really could not fully test not only because of the 100 cap, but also because much of the testing required low level ebisus to verify. From there, I even had to trust that the other person was performing tests correctly. Kudos though and I hope all the numbers work out based on community scrutiny, it'd be great to put to rest.
