Low man Swift Belt?

I have atrocious luck with the Swift Belt NM. My LS has done it tons of times, generally with 10-18 in the group. I was hoping to find a way to do it with a lot less than that. I've read of groups of 6 doing it, but how much lower can you go? Could just a couple of people on the right jobs duo or trio it?

I'm most interested in the Mithra or Elvaan NMs, since those are the most likely races to be involved in this run.

Hume and Mithra are most definitely do-able with 6-8. All the NMs are are buffed up fomors.

2 BSTs + 2 Charmed Hecteyes (the exact name of the Hecteyes Family in Sacrarium slips me at the moment) can take down Balor (Hume) without any real issues (might have to use 1-2 per food zetas but that is about it).

Friend of mine and I do this atm to try get ourselves belts but sadly the droprate is less then stellar for us (currently 0/11 *shudder*).

note/edit: the Hecteyes are VT to IT so 2hour of course is a must (but that is kind of implied).

All of them besides the Taru are quite easy with 6 people consisting of two NINs and a back line of BLM RDM WHM BRD. You could probably do them with as little as NIN BRD RDM if you have competant players, but it'd be much easier with 4-6.

Just stay the fuck away from the Taru, trust me.

I took down the taru with 2 taru BST but only doable if you run it to the start so you can use the bats after the eyes die. The hardest race has got to be the elf cause double and triple attack and literally wipe the ninja in an instant.

BSTs have soloed the Hume one at least. Duo sounds a bit safer though.

i've trio'd the hume with nin nin whm with little difficulty(so long as you've got a shadow up to take eagle eye shot, and even still, its unlikely to kill anything other than a taru nin), and i've done mithra w/ nin nin whm rdm blm... elvaan is nasty for nin tanks b/c basically elvaan has latent effect of ridill, and he hits like a mack truck.

your best bet is to stick to the mithra, use two nin tanks, and when she chainspells, just bounce hate and stun as often as possible(best whms and rdms i've done this with have hasted me when i've gone on blm so my stun has been up twice during caithleann's 2hr). you can't silence her, but otherwise, so long as your whm is good with diaga to take off utsusemi, she's pretty much a cake walk. im 0/6 myself on drops, but i've never fought her recently more than 6, and i've only wiped on elvaan b/c we popped him, we ran out, the pld voked it, and it did triple attack > double attack and he died, and it went downhill from there. so stick to mithra if hume isn't an option, and if you've got skilled players, you should be fine ^^ good luck

NIN and RDM can duo the mithra, possibly the Hume as well. I did the Hume several times with NIN, THF, WHM.

I did it with 3. 2x nin tanks and a whm. Me and the other nin had Evasion merits and decent gear so we were able to dodge it very effectively. We did hume.

blu + nin + whm or rdm works pretty well on hume or galka, not sure about the others.

rdm and nin can duo mithra and hume. mithra is a bit harder tho, i would recommend 2 nins and a rdm. anything else is just icing. blu head butt owns.

bring a blu a NIN a THF for TH and a couple healers.. a hume and a mithra to build hate and there you have it... i think i went 5/8 when i did a run a while ago.. we just waited for the humes/mithra to have enough hatye then pop whichever in rotatiion..

Hume is pretty simple as NIN NIN RDM. You just need people who play the jobs well.

Hume NIN NIN RDM, and a WHM if you can, easily duo NIN and RDM sure but I like to be safe :D

NIN THF RDM can manage, you can put in a 2nd NIN as extra security because EES can possibly drop a NIN if hes not careful. (Balor)

I haven't done any of the other belt NMs though, so I wouldn't know anything about them.

PLD tank is better IMO for the Elvaan one because of triple attack. We did the elvaan one a few time with 6, most of the time with 2 tanks because it was the job ppl wanted to come as ( PLD & PLD or PLD & NIN ). I'm sure you can kill it with 4, a PLD, RDM, THF and DD/NIN. Bring a THF as the drop rate isn't very good without one and it's helpful for hate control.

I can't say for Mithra because we never tried.
