Windowed/game lag? edit: USB Devices FIX INSIDE

Low frame rate, everything is laggy (my pc isnt great, but I never had trouble with windower). Anyone experiencing that kind of problem?

Edited topic in case people missed the solution in later page. Basically, USB keyboard/mouse is what cause this low framerate. Removing them is the only solution for now

Only slightly slower for me, and my computer wasn't running the game all that fast to start with. Can't shift+click a link in the browser without computer freezing up for a few seconds though, and typing this is... slow. Very slow. <_<

Surprise surprise, my 8600M Geforce just went from bad to worse. Now I'm lucky if I get 0.5fps.

Does this make the real windower work? I thought we were told that we shouldn't use it until it is completely fixed, someone mentioned that SE may have put in a few extra goodies that might detect its use... or something...?

It's awful.

- The screensize adjustement makes look everything blury unles you know the exact sizes that you have to set it at.
- You can't remove the window's frame, and there is also an aggravating frame inside the window.
- No way to force mouse repositioning by the game.
- Has serious gamma problems.

Just a weird thought, but maybe its lagging for people who have changed the background rendering resolution in the registry? I can't test the theory cause I'm at work, but its very possible thats it.

Tparty, Distance, Light luggage, timestamp, and silence still work just fine with the new windower.

For those asking, Running in fullscreen means changing nothing, just don't click the "run windowed" in config (default is off)

The game is laggy as shit for me now-- getting less than 9fps in non-windowed mode in JEUNO with a good computer. Fucking worthless. SE's windowed mode is useless unless it has alliance MP, TP, and IME anyway. GAY.

Old windower might work, but it's incredibly laggy likee the "official" one. I cant play in windowed mode without lag atm

SE's Windower did infact suck for me, and my PC is really great (for ffxi that is)

I used to run Windower on 1400x1050 Screen Resolution - 2048x2048 BG Resolution.
Never get a /Really/ low framerate, But now...lol, i'm running it on 800x600 Screen Resolution with 1024x1024 BG Resolution...
And i have to say, i don't think i have ever had that lag in my whole ffxi experiance, i couldint even stand changing job's/gear (to run to a secret HNM that everyone seems to camp after each maint.!!)

On topic : this new shit sucks.
