Question about PoL password encryption.

Once your password is entered into the field, is there point between hitting submit and the encryption of the information where a keylogger could see the plain text?

The reason I ask is because I was thinking of making a huge text file with random parts of my PW spread throughout and using copy and paste in a random order to input it instead of just a copy paste of the PW in it's entirety which I know would compromise it by putting it into memory. Also would you be able to highlight and delete decoy parts of the copy/paste without it being put into memory to further throw the logger of your trail?
