I'm going to say a dollar. That's one of the new dollar coins that's making its way through the US as the government tries to popularize dollar coins again. The dollar coins are doing with presidents what the quarters did with the states, and releasing a few new ones per year. Those years on the coin were the start and end of his presidential terms. >_>

I got one today that has James Madison on it as change from Subway.

I looked at the clerk like he was a moron and asked him if I could have some real money. He said they aren't using dollar bills at that location anymore. What the hell am I going to do with a dollar coin? Soda machines won't take them and I never pay with cash unless I have to (the subway is on campus so they only take cash and UF meal-plan cards)

They wouldn't put 1rst president on the coin if it was made in 1789 because technically George Washington wasn't our first president. :bagel:
