I'm going to say a dollar. That's one of the new dollar coins that's making its way through the US as the government tries to popularize dollar coins again. The dollar coins are doing with presidents what the quarters did with the states, and releasing a few new ones per year. Those years on the coin were the start and end of his presidential terms. >_>
Estimated price is $1 you fucking goof.Originally Posted by The_OG_Nelta
And if it actually was among the first dollar coins minted during George Washington's presidency, it'd probably be worth whatever $1 from that time is worth in today's money.
You know, I got a bridge in Brooklyn that I've been wanting to sell. How much you think I could get for it?
$878.00 :DOriginally Posted by Khamsin
I got one today that has James Madison on it as change from Subway.
I looked at the clerk like he was a moron and asked him if I could have some real money. He said they aren't using dollar bills at that location anymore. What the hell am I going to do with a dollar coin? Soda machines won't take them and I never pay with cash unless I have to (the subway is on campus so they only take cash and UF meal-plan cards)
This isn't Canada, I don't see milk in bags. Give me my freaking greenback!
Uh, wait a minute, you are asking about this coin? lol

Just came out like last year >______> Why would you even bother asking a question like this? lol
They wouldn't put 1rst president on the coin if it was made in 1789 because technically George Washington wasn't our first president. :bagel:
I'm not a big coin collector, I was just thinking it was an older George Washington coin, not 1789 ofc, just not the one that just came out.
It's worth $200 dollars on Ebay. Well only if it says "In God We Trust" on it.
To be honest, this is the first i've heard of these coins. I remember the sacajawewawaa coins, but not ones with the presidents on it.
No, the ones that are worth money are the ones without the lettering on the side.Originally Posted by SupHammer
The lettering is standard. Learn2read.
That's good, because even the George Washington on that coin was giving you a nasty look. Just look at his eyebrows.Originally Posted by Seditedi

In error, the U.S. Mint minted thousands of the new $1 coins without the 'In God We Trust' inscription traditional on all its money.
You are obviously a much, much, much greater man than me. I bow to your glory. Now find someone else to argue with.Originally Posted by Seditedi

Oddly enough, more than 1 cent if you take into account the materials and manufacturing costs.Originally Posted by Seditedi
