    I am sure we have/had a Thread somewhere here, about current problems or current questions, but I can´t find it right now.

    Anyway, this Thread will have some rules. If too many people break the rules, we will consider a private/hidden section on this or another forum for the discussions and only invite people to this section.

    Rule 1 : No stupid questions. (I should not have to explain what exactly stupid questions are.)
    Rule 2 : Maximum 5 questions. Maximum 2 pictures.
    Rule 3 : No flaming, no derailing. (Yes, you know what I mean, if you don´t like the questions of someone else, ignore them, leave him/her alone and just post YOUR questions)

    I just make a start, since everyone want's to know.

    Question 1
    In the video about Absolut Virtue. Did you beat is without cheating, or did you use any "Debug Mode" to reset 2HRs for example?

    Question 2
    Players tested and analyzed videos of the developers, but they cannot find any real weakness to Absolute Virtue. Can you explain the video or at least give a hint?

    Question 1
    We thank you for making good on your deal to release an Absolute Virtue video, however there are a few things the video is still very vague regarding. First, after careful inspection and even piecing the different language videos together, we noticed a few people used their 2-hours multiple times within 2 hours; was this circumvention of the game mechanics or is there some way to regain these abilities? Second, we are assuming the development team got around manafont (meteor) and benediction, was this done by luck or is there a way to "turn off" these abilities as well as the other 2-hour abilities? Finally, During the text-zooms in the video, was the intention to highlight 2-hour usage following AV's?
    Question 2
    So far in WotG, there have been no "naturally" spawning notorious monsters besides the earth crystal-dropping sandworm. Does this mean a move away from notorious monsters or have we still yet to breach the tip of the iceberg that is WotG content?

    Question 1

    I'm curious about the 2-handed buff. They boosted it, nerfed it (which made it perfect) then nerfed it again pretty much back down to where it was to begin with. Is there any plans to further boost 2 handed weapons?

    Question 2

    As more and more people hit 75, it's almost impossible to get parties in the teens, 20s, 30s, etc. Is there any chance for lower lev/lev capped Campaign to help with this problem?

    Question 3

    Are there any plans for new merits, merit options, etc. SE has said in the past they have no plans to raise the level cap, so will we see merit options expand at all?

    Question 1:
    Can we expect new types of equipment to be added that are on par with or a improvement over older content gear? At the moment, most of the content that the advanced player base utilizes is from the Zilart expansion pack, and a few are actually craftable pieces from the COP expansion pack. Will the new expansion introduce new types of armor, weapons, and accessories that will finally rival four year old equipment?

    Question 2:
    Can we expect the fellowship system to ever be expanded upon, since the end of the story so far places your NPC's origin in Aht Urghan, yet we cannot summon them there?

    Question 3:
    When new types of gear are added, such as the new abjurations from Einherjar, players believe that the reward often falls extremely far from the time and effort required to achieve it. Currently it is not worth the effort to spend millions of gil and weeks or months of time and experience points for a single body piece that offers no benefits that a craftable body piece or or older body piece does not already grant (such as the new abjurations added and some HNM drops from certain Notorious Monsters). In the future, can players expect equipment, weapons, and armor to be added that will fit the amount of effort required to achieve it, so that players feel like they are being rewarded and not like they are working a part-time job?

    Why not remove the cap on combat and magic skill merits so players with multiple jobs can merit everything they need?

    Can we have more storage space, please?

    Please make chocobo digging less competitive and/or balance out the loot obtained so that diggers will be more spread out.

    Does Campaign Ops have a quota and once it's reached, the Ops can no longer be accessed by players for a certain amount of time? If so, how long? If not, what is the reasoning for the majority of the Campaign Ops disappearing off the list?

    Question 2
    Are there any plans for some kind of racial merits where, for example, a taru can upgrade str/hp/vit while lowering their int/mp?

    Question 2 is more of a pipe dream.

    Einherjar is a really nice idea, but the players are disappointed with the fact it is not scaleable as promised and there is seemingly little or no reward for the amount of time you have to put into it.
    What changes can we except to Einherjar in the near future?



    Question 2
    Previously you’ve hinted that the weapons from Nyzul Isle would be upgradeable. Could you explain a bit more about this, and when we can expect to see it implemented.


    Question 3
    Scholar is a nice concept, but when you play it feels like the job is still in need of a lot of attention. This is also the case for it’s uses as a sub job. What changes can we expect to see to Scholar soon, and are there any plans to make it better as a sub job, much like you did with SAM?


    Question 4
    Today there is less and less people typically taking part in individual Dynamis runs. Yet this small number of players still has to pay the 1M Gil to enter. In today economy this is quite a lot. In the past you adjusted the price of Limbus; are there any plans in the near future to change the cost of doing Dynamis?


    Question 5
    The player base was very excited with WotG, but when the expansion was released there is very little to do and no new good merit camps.
    What long-term plans do you have for WotG and will you add some new merit camps soon?

    This question is regarding the 2handed buff. Indeed it makes quite a bit of sense that 2handed weapons should be able to hit harder than single handed weapons, but what about accuracy? Don't you think that single handed jobs should have received the accuracy bonus while 2handers keeping their attack bonus?

    Question 3
    Do you plan to do anything with Guard? Shield got shield mastery as a great addition, but with guard, its still the same. Parry can be skilled up on almost any job, but guard can only be skilled on 2. I personally have a 1 to 1 ratio of mnks that I know with capped guard and monks that I know with fully unlocked relics. Some kind of boost or addition to guard would be nice in the future for monks and pups.

    Question 4
    There are a handful of jobs that aren't very useful in many endgame events. Do you plan to adjust these jobs so that they too can have a decent chance at getting into a good shell w/o having to level another job first?

    Question 5
    Is it even possible for a nation to be in control of Movalpolos region? If so, where is the outpost located?

    Do you have any plans to change instanced events such as Salvage, Dynamis, or Einherjar? The main concern being the cost of Dynamis, drop rate of level 35 items in Salvage, and items in general in Einherjar?

    Question 2
    What other battle mechanics can we expect to see changed other than job specific additions? Are there any planned changes for Throwing/Ranged Attacks, obsolete weaponskills (Ku,Impulse Drive, Savage Blade,etc),or magical attacks?

    Many question the worth of investing in crafting these days with the steady increase of Veteran ranked crafters and many popular equipment options being dropped from NMs or events. Are there any plans to help revitalize crafting through additional skill levels (possibly merits), quested or dropped recipes, and new NMs and events dropping a multitude of worthwhile crafting goods instead of finished products?


    Question 2
    Endgame congestion is still a hot topic. Are there any plans to shorten the respawn timers on existing 21+ hour HNMs or offer alternative methods of fighting the same mobs with the same loot pools?


    Question 3
    Many merit options simply seem useless or incomplete. Are there any plans to move Tier II Spells and Job Abilities to normal level progression and instead replace said merit items with new ones that enhance said abilities or offer further new traits?


    Question 4
    Even with the latest Gobbiebag quests, inventories still feel the crunch. Are there plans to overhaul storage NPCs so all EX goods can be stored? Are there plans to convert Beastmen and Kindred Seals to work like Ancient Beastcoins in that trading to Shami in Port Jeuno will offer you a credit in which you can buy the desired BC orbs?

    Are there any plans to adjust or expand PVP Conflict through new content, rewards or battle areas? Players don't really care about Brenner but Ballista still has small following. Perhaps the long awaited return of Ballista Royale?

    Question 2
    SE customer support has generally been rated low by players and in comparsion to other MMOs however SE has improved on this over the last few years. How does the company plan to improve its support and interaction with the player community?

    Question 3
    Two-handed weapons have been a hot topic with players and dev team. they were enhanced, then lowered then lowered yet again to the point where its barely different then they originally were. Are there any plans to adjust Two-handed weapons again through damage calculations or expanding equipment such as Grips?

    Reguarding ToAU nyzul weapons. will the upgrading be difficult like the dynamis relic weapons with a more powerful final stage or an easier upgrade with equal to or lesser final stats.

    On March 30th 2006 you announced future job adjustments at the FINAL FANTASY XI Fan Festival that you will give something for summoners to keep thier avatars out over longer periods of time. On July 24th 2006, you implemented six blood pacts for the summoners to encourage to keep thier avatars out for a longer periods of time. The trend for summoners remains the same. To help encourage the summoners, while having certain avatars out will give the party an effect of certain job trait etc?

    Question 2
    If Odin is our next avatar, can he be on Sleipnir, and not hover like a normal avatar?

    Question 3
    Dragoons, and Puppetmasters pets can emote, why not summoners pets?

    "Fine Tuning" aspects of unwelcomeness :

    Question 1
    Shields are currently useful to PLD, but that's the only job that really uses shields greatly. Would it be possible to make shields become more attractive? For example : "Enhances Sneak attack / Trick attack" or "Enhances Berserk" etc, currently the "+3 STR" or "+10 HP" are not very attractive to wear as a shield. Shields are too plain in this game and we need more attractive ones like the older final fantasies had where they would enhance or greatly benefit a character rather than minimally increase a stat boost

    Question 2
    Pets! Currently pets can't gain the benefit of bard songs, which is a real big shame because beastmaster pets could greatly benefit from having them. Can you allow BST SMN DRG PUP pets to gain the benefits of songs? Currently they can gain the benefit of a corsair roll, but only if the master is under the effect, I am asking if you can allow pets on their own to gain the benefits of bard songs like any other member of the party - the pet is a member of the party, why does it not gain the same benefit?

    Question 3
    More on the topic of pets, can you add more realistic "Pet food" to beastmaster's array of pet foods? Currently the only thing a pet food is good for is curing and adding a very small regen, which many people will gladly sacrifice for a realistic pet food.

    Realistic pet food as in -
    a)Pet sushi - Increases the accuracy of the pet for 30mins NQ 60mins HQ
    b)Pet meat - Increases the attack of the pet for 30mins NQ 60mins HQ
    c)Pet Seafood - Increases the defense of the pet for 30mins NQ 60mins HQ

    These would be highly welcomed by all pet masters, but especially beastmasters who wouldn't mind buffing their pets in a party situation.


    Question 4
    Is there any chance that they will consider supporting DX9 again? The excuse not to support it was there wasn't enough development resources, yet they are fixing little things like background music and such. A lot of people with Nvidia cards are still having troubles since Nvidia doesn't seem to support the old and archaic DX8, so will you please reconsider?

    Question 1
    Many players have already reached the final levels of the recently added jobs. As such, are there any plans to add SCH & DNC to existing endgame armor sets? (Limbus, Salvage & Abjuration sets)

    Question 2
    Alot of crafters like to use Guild Points on HQ Crystals so they can sign their products. Would it be possible to add HQ Clusters to the buyable item list in hopes of saving time?

    Question 3
    ISNM Battles have become fairly popular. Are there any plans in expand on this concept? Perhaps a BC fight similar to the KS99 fights that were added, but against the ToAU HNMs (Khimaira, Cerberus, Hydra). Suggested minimum cost would be 50,000 Imperial Standing Points.

    Question 4
    Campaign battles have become very popular. However one of the downsides I've noticed is that it's hard to tell how long battles have been going on for when deciding which region to warp to. Would it be possible to include the start time of battles on the Campaign Map when checking areas?

    Question 5
    Since the release of ToAU, there have been a wide variety of crafting related items added. However there's one item required that seems to be alot rarer than the rest: Star Sapphire. Are there any plans to increase the number of methods to acquire this item?

    Would it be possible to get experience points bonus from chaining easy prey monsters if your in a party of less than 4 , This would help greatly for lower man partys without a healer/tank

    With the addition of new jobs, merits, and gear, as well as job adjustments, it seems that players have become much stronger compared to the mobs and NMs they're fighting. Are there any plans to introduce more challenging HNMs without resorting to "tricks" like Absolute Virtue?
    Question 2
    Black Mage has not recieved an update other than gear/merits in years, presumably because it was already a powerful job. However, with the numerous boosts to physical damage jobs and plethora of magic-resistant, physical-weak mobs, are there any plans to boost BLM, with spells such as Aspir II or possibly new active/passive job abilities?
    Question 3
    While there have been many new cooking recipes added, mages are still very limited in their food choices. For example, a melee job can obtain massive boosts to their attack or accuracy through food, while a mage is limited to small amounts of MP, stats, or MP recovered while healing. Are there any plans to add mage food with more significant effects?
    Question 4
    While Salvage is an excellent event and embraced by the playerbase, the cost of imperial wootz ingots is sometimes prohibitively high. Are there any plans to add additional sources for khroma ore? Possibly a random drop off of Chariots?
