It's obvious this is a DD build for soloing or whatever else she's doing with it. I've had something like hers a long time ago when I used to solo in Den of Rancor but once I'd capped Shield and Parrying on RDM I just decided to go with a more traditional mage setup.

Unless you see her in a merit PT meleeing in this setup then I see nothing wrong with what she's doing. So yeah unless she's doing this in something which requires her to be more of a mage then it's not gimped. Not the best choices imo seeing as I'd choose a few other pieces over what she has but it's not gimp.

I think I'd focus more on the fact that she clearly has only nq staves but wasted coins she could have sold on af+1 hands, boots, and gil on melee crap. That kind of shit bugs me so much. When I'm bored I just run around Whitegate looking for people like that.

Probably the person who played that character had DRK75 and got torque then quit and gave his character to a friend or something.
