Thanks to chat I had to pop in Tales of Eternia and fight the final boss again for nostalgia's sake.
Why is this fight soooooooo good? Everything about it. The background, the boss itself (such a chaotic fight) ...and one of the only truly menacing sounding final boss themes in RPGs. The music suits the fight so damn well.

Finished L.A. Noire. Awesome game and loved what it led to. We really need a sequel with Kelso as the main character.

I'm using a 360 controller. It's so awkward to not be able to run and shoot at the same time. Also, only the left stick is used for movement while the right stick is used to look around. Maybe you can change these things? I haven't looked into it. I'll keep at it though.

Just played Transistor, and overall I liked Bastion more in terms of story/characters. Game was pretty interesting, but faaaaaar too easy to break (which I kinda like) which makes things pretty easy. Last fight is super annoying though.

Considering replaying RE6 and starting Revelations, and I have Max Payne 3 and Darksiders to consider as well. Must kill time until Xillia 2.

If you like the series then I would play this stat. I'm a huge Max fan and I thoroughly loved 3. Got it first for 360 and liked it. Got it for pc and loved it. Tons of fun.

The writing isn't as cheesy as the previous games (whether that's good or bad is up to you), but Max Payne 3 is definitely a Max Payne game thru and thru.

The game having actual proper physics fucked me up alot though. In the previous games you could cheese it out by just diving into a wall over and over when you were out of meter. This time around hitting a wall or other object ends bullet time instantly and you'll just gracelessly drop to the floor.

Vita's all I been using lately.

100%'d Velocity Ultra so I could start burning away at Velocity 2X which has been great so far.
Got back into Muramasa and whittling away at that on Chaos difficulty.
Some FEZ on the side, and Persona 1.

I want to check out Sword Art Online and Danganronpa eventually, along with Toukiden Kiwami whenever that's out. And there's Shinovi Versus next month.

SAO is good if you can ignore the engrish in it. Obviously they didn't proof read the asian engrish translations.

Kinda hate how SV was pushed to October because I was set for the 30th for some ninja tits.

Sony just needs to do something about the fucking memory card prices. My 32gb is full, and the 64gb is too costly an upgrade currently. It's one way to force me to work on my backlog though as I can't be arsed to copy 2-3gb games to my PC due to how slow the Vita backs anything up.

It's a shame SAO is a good 3gb in size with no physical release.

The intent is to eventually platinum it, so it'll be fun dying repeatedly in something harder than Chaos. At least the death penalty is light in the game.

I honestly feel like Chaos is harder than Fury when all is said and done... hopefully you enjoy it as much as I have been.
